Jordan and I met as freshmen in college: he studied jazz guitar; I studied vocal jazz. You could say it was a match made in music-school heaven.
We were friends all throughout school — always listening to and playing music together. But when we moved to Austin, Texas, after graduation, the chemistry blossomed. We began dating and writing songs together, which prompted us to start our award-winning Americana band, Beth // James.
Somewhere along the way, we decided we “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” We married in 2020. (And yes, we performed at our own wedding!)
Today, Jordan and I play at luxury weddings and private events in Texas and beyond. While he doesn’t always accompany me, making music with him — especially for other couples in love — is simply magical. And it seems the couples who hire us agree...

I’m not like most wedding musicians
That’s because most wedding musicians simply don’t have the breadth of experience I’ve gained. After 13+ years in the industry, I’ve performed at a variety of luxury weddings and private events — more than a thousand, to be exact.
That means I have not only musical talent and skill, but also the specialized knowledge, streamlined processes, and level of professionalism you want in a live event musician.
