Y’all, I just love a rehearsal dinner + welcome party combo and I’m never going to shut up about it. Sitting down to an intimate dinner with your closest people. Sharing speeches and embarrassing childhood stories, clinking wine glasses, and ending the night with a big party (before the big party). It’s just the best way to get centered and blow off a little steam before wedding day.

Maddie and John’s day mirrored their personalities: vibrant, fun, and effortlessly cool. They drew inspiration from Palm Springs aesthetics with loud florals and colorful motifs, but made it very them and very Austin.

Kendall & Wes’ wedding was like a modern Hill Country fairytale – with a little country flavor. Brightly colored florals and string lights hung from every surface (the walls, ceiling, and even the trees), butterflies and delicate botanicals adorned the dance custom floor, and Kendall was absolute bridal perfection. And I might be biased, but the music was just chef’s kiss.

Anytime I get to perform at The Contemporary Austin Laguna Gloria, it’s such a treat. The grounds are so beautiful, it feels like you’re in an Italian villa — but it’s just good ole’ Lake Austin. Emily & Zach went for a romantic Fall color palette full of oranges and soft pinks. We decided on a duo with guitar, piano, and vocals for the ceremony and classic love songs for the playlist.

Alison and Aaron’s wedding was like something out of a dream – one of the most thoughtful, intentional, and creative weddings I’ve had the privilege of singing for. Alison’s theater background and love for the arts inspired the most beautiful production from start to finish. The amazing Amy Kuntz of Hawthorne and Poppy designed a masterpiece, pulling inspiration from Alison’s love of Dutch Masters paintings, theatrical lighting, and beautiful rich florals. I think it’s safe to say this day changed me…for good.

Picture a crisp January evening, pink & red flowers everywhere, and the giggliest ceremony of all time – that was Sammi & Zach’s day. When we first started talking about their wedding vision, Sammi explained she was very much in her “Lover” era and wanted the whole day to reflect that. In fact, her exact words to me were, “My only request is as much Taylor Swift as possible.” Say less.
