I’ll admit, when Tubby Todd reached out, I didn’t really understand the full scope of cuteness that was about to come my way. As someone with no children, I’m not very “up” on all things baby or bath time (lol), but boy did I learn.
Tubby Todd hosted a beautiful Easter garden party at the stunning Commodore Perry Estate, one of Austin’s most iconic event venues. While I’ve performed there many times before, it was very fun seeing the grounds completely overtaken by tiny children running around. There was a petting zoo, easter egg hunt, flower crown bar, and plenty of snacks to keep everyone happy. Each kiddo received a thoughtfully curated gift basket, including bath essentials and an adorable plush bunny that they carried and snuggled all day.
For music, we set the tone with light, airy garden party vibes, performing as an acoustic trio with violin. Of course, we had to bring out some Disney favorites like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story, and “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid. Kids danced, snacked on plenty of Easter candy, and soaked up the sunshine—it was easily one of the sweetest events we’ve played. Thanks for having us Tubby Todd!
