Mikaela is an award-winning singer-songwriter, performer and pianist. She has sung on over 40 studio albums, commercials, and short films, and played for countless weddings and events.
With 100+ rave reviews on The Knot alone, Mikaela is a proud member of The Knot Hall of Fame. as well as a WeddingWire “Couple’s Choice Award” winner (2021-’23), “Best of The Bash” (2015, ‘16, & ‘19), “The Bash Top Booked Member” (2019), and was voted runner-up for the Austin Music Award's “Best Female Vocalist” (2017).
One of her original songs ("Lion Eyes", co-written with her husband for their duo Beth // James), was featured in Spike Lee's Academy Award-winning film 'BlacKkKlansman'.
