Y’all, I just love a rehearsal dinner + welcome party combo and I’m never going to shut up about it. Sitting down to an intimate dinner with your closest people. Sharing speeches and embarrassing childhood stories, clinking wine glasses, and ending the night with a big party (before the big party). It’s just the best way to get centered and blow off a little steam before wedding day.
Campbell & Luke’s rustic rehearsal dinner in sage, blush, and copper was absolute perfection. And would you believe me if I told you that this was the rain plan? Well, it absolutely was. A good ole’ Texas storm rolled in last minute and Nicolete LaVeau of Westcott Weddings pulled off an absolutely masterful rain pivot at the last second. It was cozy, luxurious, and meant to be. We played as a duo with piano, guitar, & vocals for the dinner portion, sticking with soft, romantic classics. Then after dinner, we transitioned into the lounge area and kicked up the vibes as more guests arrived, playing acoustic versions of country songs like “Feathered Indians” and “Friends in Low Places”.
It was a beautiful night I’ll never forget. Thanks for letting us sing for y’all!
