Mikaela graduated with a B.M. in Vocal Jazz Studies (Cum Laude) from the University of North Texas and has been working as a full-time musician and music educator for about 8 years. She has studied many different vocal styles including classical, jazz, musical theater, pop, and R&B and has received numerous awards for vocal performance and songwriting.

Mikaela’s lessons can involve any combination of voice (technique, song selection, style), songwriting, piano, music theory, performance and general musicality. “I hand tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs and goals. My number one priority is to make sure my students are always having fun while building confidence and learning important musical (and life) skills!” When teaching, Mikaela draws from her diverse musical experiences and loves helping her students find confidence in their unique voices!
