Al Fresco Fall Sculpture Garden Wedding | Live Ceremony & Cocktail Hour Music by Mikaela Kahn Duo

Anytime I get to perform at The Contemporary Austin Laguna Gloria, it’s such a treat. The grounds are so beautiful, it feels like you’re in an Italian villa — but it’s just good ole’ Lake Austin.

Emily & Zach went for a romantic Fall color palette full of oranges and soft pinks. We decided on a duo with guitar, piano, and vocals for the ceremony and classic love songs for the playlist. Zach and his parents walked out first to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton, followed by the bridal party and the cutest little flower girl to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri. You know I love a long, dramatic aisle, and the gorgeous stone staircase in this outdoor amphitheater does not disappoint. Emily & her father made their way down as we played “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. And finally, we sang them out to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole for the recessional.

Guests walked through the wooded pathway of the sculpture garden out onto the main patio for cocktails and more live music. We played as our acoustic duo, with a fun eclectic setlist including throwbacks like “Brown Eyed Girl” & “How Sweet It Is”, modern country like “All Your’n” & “You Look Like You Love Me”, and some fun pop tunes like “Birds of a Feather” & “As it Was”.

The sun set over Lake Austin and everyone took their seats at the long table for an al fresco dinner, toasts, and a huge dance party. It was such a beautiful September evening. Thank you for including us!
