Real Wedding: Keelin + Chuck
“Mikaela was absolutely incredible!! She was also amazing to plan with and very communicative. We had a violin trio play “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as I walked down the aisle, and had them play during our cocktail hour as well. Couldn’t ask for better performance - thank you. :)” - Keelin T (ceremony & cocktail hour)
If a Bentley, a chandelier, and a night club had a baby - it would be Keelin + Chuck’s wedding. Seriously, these two know how to throw a party. It was giving classic romance meets night out. It was giving Blair and…well, Chuck.
Keelin wanted an epic bridal entrance and had a vision for exactly how she wanted it to go down. We played as a trio with violin and started off with sweet love songs like “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat, “Marry Me” by Train, and “Lifetime” by Justin Bieber for the prelude. Then for the ceremony processionals, we played just one song for everyone - “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis. We began playing instrumentally, with violin softly taking the melody as everyone walked down the aisle. Guitar took over the melody next, gaining momentum as the bridal party started coming down. Finally, I began singing the lyrics and Keelin milked the moment as she walked down the gorgeous stone staircase. Then, to put a cherry on top of the ceremony, we played “You Are the Best Thing” by Ray Lamontagne after the kiss. I absolutely love orchestrating ceremony music like the soundtrack to a movie and working to bring my couples’ visions to life!
